We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Service Description

Resume AI provides AI-powered resume optimisation services, including:

• ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility analysis
• Resume rewriting and optimisation
• Cover letter generation
• Job-specific resume tailoring

The Service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees regarding job placement, interview invitations, or employment outcomes.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• One account per user; multiple accounts are prohibited

3.2 Account Security

• Keep your magic link emails confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial purposes to optimise your own resume for job applications.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for fraudulent or illegal purposes
• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated information in resumes
• Resell, redistribute, or commercialize the Service or its outputs
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Abuse, harass, or spam our support channels
• Circumvent payment systems or use stolen payment methods
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise security
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Payments and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

• Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change
• Payment is processed securely through PayPal
• All sales are final upon service delivery

5.2 Refund Policy

Due to the instant nature of our AI service (documents delivered within minutes), we generally do not offer refunds. However:

• Quality Guarantee: If you're not satisfied with your optimised resume, we will revise it free of charge
• Technical Issues: Refunds may be issued if we fail to deliver the service due to technical problems
• Duplicate Charges: Accidental duplicate charges will be refunded promptly

Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase. Contact support@allresumeai.com with your order details.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of your resume content and personal information
• You grant us a limited licence to process your content to provide the Service
• We do not claim ownership of your resumes or generated documents
• You may use the optimised resumes for any lawful purpose

6.2 Our Content

• The Service, including AI algorithms, design, and branding, is owned by Resume AI
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary technology
• Our trademarks and logos may not be used without permission

7. Data and Privacy

• Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy
• Uploaded files are automatically deleted after 7 days
• You can export or delete your data at any time from your dashboard
• We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data

8. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time
• We may suspend service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 No Employment Guarantees

We do not guarantee job placement, interview invitations, or specific employment outcomes. The Service is a tool to improve your resume; hiring decisions are made by employers.

9.2 Accuracy of Content

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content in optimised resumes. We are not liable for factual errors, omissions, or misrepresentations in AI-generated content.

9.3 Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is less.

9.4 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resume AI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your misuse of the Service
• False or misleading information you provide
• Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete My Data" button in your dashboard. All data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse or threaten our staff
• Use the Service for illegal purposes

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, please contact us at support@allresumeai.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

12.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Resume AI is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.3 Arbitration

Any disputes not resolved informally will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for small claims court matters.

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Resume AI
• Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them without notice
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our control
